Always keep one horse width away from the wall. ── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ── The Four Basic Gaits ── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ── A 'gait' is your horses' way of moving/ the speed they are in Walk - the first gait. Trot - the second gait. Canter - the third gait. Extended Canter - the fourth gait. ── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ── Corners ── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ── Square Corner ━ A true 90 degree corner for which you hold down your arrow key, then release it when straight. Round Corner ━ Turn a corner by tapping your arrow key, then stop tapping when straight. ── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ── Line Labels ── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ── Primary Labels ━ In every line, label yourself from the front of the line as an “odd” numbered rider or an “even” numbered rider in that line. Secondary Labels ━ Label the line in numbered pairs (1, 1, 2, 2 etc).     REGISTERED REGISTERED TEAMS REGISTERED CLUBS Star Stable Dressage is all about growing the community. Dressage clubs and teams are what drive the community, so SSD wants to help promote them by bringing you a system to register your club/team into - so all SSD registered riders can find the dressage club/team best suited for them! BACK TO HOME P E R K S o f r e g i s t r a t i o n C H A T Registered club/team owners will have access to a chat within the server for communicating and planning things, and chatting. Within this chat, sometimes we may ask for feedback before opening it up to the community. W E B S I T E Registered clubs/teams will be featured on the SSD website under the SSD Registered Clubs and Registered Teams tab (respectively), with all their information, including Discord open servers and other social links. M E D I A Registered clubs/teams will have the opportunity to be involved with SSD Media, including the Instagram. C L I N I C S Registered clubs/teams can host Clinics within SSD. These are clinic based practices where clubs can choose any topic to teach. People can come along to watch or take part and some may even stream the clinics. There is a lot of creativity and flexibility within these clinics! R E P R E S E N T A T I O N Registered clubs/teams will help represent SSD and positive community growth. E X C H A N G E Registered club/team owners will be able to access to exclusive owner channels to chat with other owners, share ideas, to plan out the next club/team clinics and gain some feedback. Clubs and teams must be at least 6 months old to be Registered. Registered clubs and teams have to participate in two or more SSD competitions each year. Registered clubs and teams must host a clinic in the Star Stable Dressage server at least once every year. This clinic could be an open practice, clinic-style lesson, information lesson, etc. Registered clubs and teams must uphold a positive, safe, and welcoming environment. They must maintain being respectful, since you are partly representing SSD. R E G I S T R A- T I ON p r o c e s s If your club/team meets the requirements above, you can apply in our Discord when applications are open: DISCORD Registered club and team owners must keep SSD in loop if your club disbands, goes on break for some reason, etc. Registered clubs and teams have to have previously been active within the SSD dressage community. Registered clubs and teams must have an Instagram which is active with consistent updates. Registered clubs and teams must be comfortable with all the perks and be willing to participate in activities, events, and competitions.

THE STORY OF SSD "Star Stable Dressage" was founded by April Purplenight who has goals to unite the Dressage Community and offer a space where everyone could learn the ways of the arena and enter professional competitions together. Before SSD, the community was rather divided and it was hard to gain knowledge to participate - the goal of SSD was to change that and unify everyone while giving all individuals equal chance to grow their understanding of riding dressage. On the second go, evens curl over around their partner. Evens automatically begin to trot behind their partner.
